Where It Fits

Guided vertical transport between building levels

Choose a guide rail cargo lift when goods must move repeatedly between fixed landings and the building can accommodate the lift structure, gates and loading zones.

01

Warehouse mezzanines

Transfer pallets, trolleys or cartons between storage and picking levels.

02

Factory floor transfer

Move materials between production floors without occupying a passenger-elevator route.

03

Restricted building spaces

Fit a guided cargo platform into a measured shaft, external frame or designated opening.

Good fit when

Goods move between fixed floors, guided travel and landing gates are required, and the building interface can be engineered.

Consider another solution when

For short vertical travel at one open workstation, use a stationary scissor lift table. This product is not a passenger elevator.

Specification Reference

Coordinate the cargo lift with every landing

Capacity, car size, travel and landing arrangement are project-specific. Building dimensions and access conditions must be measured.

Engineering Details

Guides, platform and landings work together

Stable cargo transfer depends on coordinating the lifting mechanism with the guide structure, building supports and every access point.

01

Guided lifting frame

Vertical rails control platform travel and transfer operating loads into the supporting structure.

02

Cargo platform or enclosure

Usable dimensions are built around the largest load, trolley and loading direction.

03

Hydraulic lifting package

Cylinder, chain or rope arrangement and power unit are selected for the travel and capacity.

04

Landing interfaces

Openings, sill levels, gates and loading clearances are coordinated at each floor.

05

Building and weather enclosure

Internal guarding or an external protective enclosure can be included according to the site.

Safety Configuration

Safety built around the operating condition

A multi-floor opening requires coordinated platform, landing and building protection. Final interlocks and guarding depend on the installation.

01

Landing-gate interlocks

Configured gates prevent normal operation when an access point is not in the required state.

02

Anti-fall protection

Application-specific mechanical or hydraulic measures address unintended platform descent.

03

Upper and lower limits

Travel limits define normal stopping positions and overtravel protection.

04

Emergency stop and lowering

Controls provide stop and controlled recovery functions as specified.

05

Overload protection

The final control package can monitor loads beyond the configured operating limit.

06

Maintenance isolation

Lockout points and mechanical support protect authorised inspection and service work.

Operating note:This page describes a cargo lift for goods. Do not use it to carry passengers unless the final equipment is specifically designed, certified and installed for that purpose under applicable local requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you specify Guide Rail Cargo Lift

What is the difference between a cargo lift and a stationary scissor lift?

A cargo lift uses guided travel between fixed building levels. A stationary scissor lift is generally used for shorter travel at one open work area or level-compensation point.

What capacity range is available?

The Haolong catalogue states approximately 100 kg to 10 tonnes. Final capacity and load distribution require project confirmation.

Can the car size and number of floors be customized?

Yes. Platform or car dimensions, travel, landing count, gate position and control stations are configured to the building.

Can people ride in the cargo lift?

No passenger use should be assumed. Personnel transport requires a different design, certification and local approval.

What building information is required?

Provide floor elevations, opening sizes, available shaft or frame area, support points, foundation details, access route and site drawings or marked photos.

Should construction start before drawings are approved?

Critical openings, foundations and supports should follow the approved project interface drawing to avoid installation conflicts.
